When I First Saw This My Brain Hurt, Then I Found Out What It Really Is And…

Sometimes things are not like they appear, and sometimes they are. If you are feeling confused by looking at these pictures you must know that it happens to almost everybody.

This unusual cabin is located in California, more precisely in the desert of Joshua Tree, and it’s an incredible sculpture installation created by artist Pillip K. Smith III.

What the artist did was adding mirrors to the walls, doors and windows, to create the illusion of seeing right through the cabin.
Pillip aquired this 70-year-old cabin and gave it new life, and a new name, Lucid Stead.

About the project, the artist says “it is about tapping into the quiet and the pace of change of the desert. When you slow down and align yourself with the desert, the project begins to unfold before you.”
